Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients

Serves 1 · Prep: 5 min (night before)
  • ¾ cup organic raw oats
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (or other nut butter)
  • ½ small apple, chopped
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Method

  1. The night before, layer Greek yogurt, oats, maple syrup, and nut butter into a mason jar, finishing with a thin oat layer. The jar should be about three-quarters full.
  2. Pour almond milk into the jar so it sits about 1 cm above the top layer of oats.
  3. Add chopped apple, walnuts, hemp hearts, chia seeds, and cinnamon on top.
  4. Put the lid on the jar and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, shake or stir the jar to mix everything together and enjoy straight from the jar.
